Gucci Milano Fashion Week

To present his latest Exquisite collection at the Gucci hub in Milan, artistic director alessandro Michele wanted a hall of illusionist mirrors.

The set design for the show was based entirely on the stainless steel falt deforming mirrors oj Julien Vidame.

In his notes on the show he wrote, “I use the metaphor of the magical mirror to approach the phantasmagorical power of fashion, a scared power that radiates from the surface of the fabric. And there I work, on this tactile surface, through cross references, alliterations, loopholes and grafts.”
