Julien Vidame discovered his true passion in a school of arts where he had the opportunity to experiment with various techniques. He confirmed his taste for art and especially his desire to create objects which stand out by their refined and interactive style.

Impatient to discover the work reality, Julien Vidame quit the course during the second year and decided to try his luck in London, where after several weeks trough the town meeting designers he was finally hired.

Back in Brittany after one year, Julien Vidame developed dozens of prototypes of a photo frame and a mirror. When these two products were completely successful ; patent, packaging, brochure, business strategy, a first series was made. Several orders one of which from the " Centre Pompidou " allowed him to launch and develop his creations.

It's been 13 years since then, many partners in various countries working with his designs. The bedside received the " Press Award " in 2009 at the " Maison & Objet " fair which takes place in Paris.

Today a successful designer, Julien Vidame' s creations stand out by their interactivity and refinement. As someone who loves challenges, meeting with problems until a solution is found, is vital for him. Thus he conceived the bending machine for the wave shelves in order to create a form that manufacturers couldn't achieve.

" I like to modify the apprehension of an object, clean up its concept, I question myself constantly on the first message I want to convey. The best compliment one can give me is: « It's simple but someone had to come up with the idea! » ".
